Microwave Mug Banana Bread Recipe

This recipe is a variation of the banana bread, the famous dessert of Anglo-Saxon origin made precisely with bananas.

Ingredients for the mug banana bread:

  • 1 banana (ripe)
  • 1 egg (medium-sized)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • to taste powdered sugar

  • 1 Mug
  • 1 Fork

Steps for preparing and cooking the mug banana bread:

  • Peel the banana, remove the strings and the two ends, then place it on a plate, slice it into pieces and mash it well with a fork to obtain a puree.

    Put the mashed banana in the mug, add the whole egg, and start to mix the two ingredients well.

  • When the two ingredients are mixed, add the vegetable oil and milk, stir well, and now add the brown sugar, flour sifted with baking powder.

    Stir the ingredients well to get a homogeneous mixture.

  • Put the mug in the microwave, cook at 800W for 2.5 minutes.

    Dust the dessert with powdered sugar before consuming it.

Notes

If you like, you can also add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder to the mixture.
