Today I made some very cute Halloween cookies, they are super easy to make, in fact they are made without a specific cutter. I did everything by hand, but believe me they are really easy to make. In case I recommend these cutters which are very cute and perfect for creating Halloween cookies. I used my amazing classic shortcrust pastry but you can easily use your favorite cookie dough.

- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Very Cheap
- Rest time: 30 Minutes
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 10
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Halloween
Ingredients
- 4 cups shortcrust pastry
- as needed hazelnut cream
Tools
- Cookie Cutters
- Baking Trays
- Parchment Paper
- Stand Mixer
- Ball Tool
Steps
In the mixing bowl, I added eggs, sugar, and lard, and kneaded for 2 minutes. For this dough, using the paddle attachment is fine. (See tables )
I added flour, vanillin, and a pinch of salt and kneaded until the dough detached from the sides.
I compacted it with my hands, wrapped it in plastic wrap, and put it in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
I took the dough back, rolled it out on a floured surface, and cut out the cookies.
With the Ball Tool, I formed the eyes and drew the nose and mouth. But only on half of the cookies. The other half will be for the base.
I baked for about 15 minutes at 356°F.
I filled the undecorated half with hazelnut cream and placed the decorated face on top.
