Tonic Water with Berries, Rosemary, and Lemon

When it’s hot, there’s only one word that counts: freshness. This drink made with tonic water, berries, lemon, and rosemary is the perfect answer for anyone looking for something light, quick, and visually appealing.

Plus, it takes just 2 minutes to prepare, it’s non-alcoholic, and can be turned into a cocktail with a splash of gin or vodka.

Serve it with plenty of ice, it’s ideal for aperitif, summer dinner, or just to pamper yourself with something special.

Among the most beloved summer drinks, we find infused waters, homemade iced teas, fresh juices, and obviously mocktails, the non-alcoholic cocktails.

And for friends who don’t mind alcohol, this drink transforms into a light yet intriguing aperitif: just add a dash of gin, vodka, or prosecco, and it’s instantly chic. The rosemary adds a fragrant touch, the berries bring color, and the lemon does its job.
Crush some fruit in the glass if you want for a more summery and colorful effect!

Ingredients

  • 5 fl oz tonic water
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 slice lemon
  • to taste berries (blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries for me)
  • to taste ice

Tools

  • Glasses

Before the meal, we are ready for an aperitif

  • Obviously, the first thing is to have ice cubes ready in the freezer…

    I put a few ice cubes in the glass.

  • I add the berries to taste and the lemon slice.

  • Now I pour in the well-chilled tonic water.

  • I finish by adding a sprig of rosemary.

  • I didn’t crush the fruits because for the photo I preferred the “ingredients” to be clearly visible, but do it… the flavor will be enhanced!
