Ingredients
- 1 cup coffee
- 3.4 oz milk
- to taste cocoa powder (optional)
Tools
- Coffee Machine
- Cup
- Small Pot milk frother
Steps
First, prepare a cup of strong espresso coffee with the moka pot or coffee machine. Once ready, pour it into a large cappuccino cup.
Now prepare the milk with the coffee machine’s specific frother. Insert the steam wand into the pot/pitcher with the milk and activate the steam.
Ensure the tip of the wand is just below the milk’s surface to create foam, then lower the wand to heat the milk to about 140-150°F. The milk should double in volume and have a creamy texture.
Alternatively, heat the milk, then froth it by immersing the electric frother into the pitcher. Move the frother up and down to incorporate air and create a dense foam.
Pour the frothed milk over the espresso, tilting the pitcher to control the flow of milk and foam. Dust with cocoa powder and sweeten to taste.
