I had to prepare a quick first course for two people and in the fridge, I had one zucchini, some cooked ham, and cooking cream, so: pasta with zucchini, cream, and ham! Everything cooked in a pan, super fast and creamy, perfect for a last-minute meal with taste.
Fried zucchini give that extra touch, golden and tasty, and with the cooking cream a delicious creamy sauce is created that envelops the pasta. The cubed cooked ham then completes the dish.
A simple recipe, ready in less than 20 minutes, perfect if you have little time and want a complete and tasty first course. You can use any format: penne, rigatoni, fusilli, or spaghetti!

Ingredients
- 6 oz pasta (penne)
- 2 zucchini
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 0.5 cup cooking cream
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
Wash and cut the zucchini into thin slices. Fry them in plenty of hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on absorbent paper and lightly salt them.
Cook the pasta in salted water, drain it al dente reserving a ladle of cooking water.
Add the ham, a bit of pasta cooking water, and cook for a couple of minutes.
Drain the pasta al dente and add it to the sauce, add a bit of salt, mix well and serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
