Saffron and lemon chicken is an alternative to the usual ways of cooking chicken and is certainly one of the tastiest dishes I have prepared thanks to a special ingredient, Zafferano 3 Cuochi, which is a highly appreciated spice in the kitchen, both for its delicious aroma and its delicate flavor. The creamy and aromatic saffron sauce, characterized by a beautiful golden yellow color, teases both the eyes and the palate and invites you to “sop up the sauce with bread from the plate.”

- 1.3 lbs chicken breast
- 1 lemon (large)
- 1 packet Zafferano 3 Cuochi
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1 bunch parsley

How to Make Saffron and Lemon Chicken
Start by cutting the chicken breast in half, then cut it into strips and then into pieces. Transfer the pieces to a baking dish and coat them in flour, being careful to remove excess flour with a sieve.
In a pan, heat a dash of olive oil with the lemon zest for a few seconds; then remove the lemon and add the chicken, season with salt, and cook for 6-7 minutes over high heat.
Deglaze with the lemon juice, allowing it to evaporate.
At the end of cooking, dissolve the Zafferano 3 Cuochi in the warm cream and pour over the chicken. Turn off the heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve your saffron and lemon chicken immediately.
