Another positive aspect of homemade breadcrumbs is the economical one, it costs much less than the store-bought one, it is much more natural and without the addition of preservatives or other ingredients.
For making homemade breadcrumbs, we RECOMMEND using Tuscan bread or other bread that does not contain oil or defrosted bread.

Steps to prepare homemade breadcrumbs:
Take the stale bread, making sure first that it has not developed mold which can form on bread with the humidity in the kitchen, and spores in this humid environment could proliferate.
Cut the stale bread into slices about an inch thick and then each slice into strips and each strip into pieces to get bread cubes, put them in a baking sheet suitable for the oven and let them toast at 320°F for about 5 minutes.
The bread must dry well, it should not brown.
Take the bread out of the oven and let it cool very well.
Put the toasted bread in the mixer and blend it, you can choose to blend it finely or coarsely depending on the preparation you need, we have two containers for breadcrumbs at home, one finely ground and the other coarser.
Once the breadcrumbs are prepared, put them in the jar, add the bay leaf and close it well, remember to store it away from sunlight and in a dry place.
We recommend using bread that you make yourself, we used Tuscan bread, without salt, perfect for using breadcrumbs even in non-salty preparations.
