Smoked salmon deviled eggs are a very easy and quick appetizer to prepare.

An evergreen ready in just a few minutes, perfect for adorning your holiday table or to start a lunch or dinner in a sophisticated and savory way, guaranteed to impress! They also make for a delicious and fresh appetizer that will win over friends and family.

Use both creamy ingredients and some elements that add crunch to the palate, creating a true concentration of flavor and wonder!

Deviled eggs are among the favorite appetizers at any buffet, whether it’s a fish, meat, or vegetarian menu.

They are prepared in a flash, often used as a last-minute recipe, always pleasing any type of guest.

They can be filled in many ways and decorated by creating particular shapes or elegant little bites.

To flawlessly succeed with the recipe, just follow a few simple tips, starting with choosing the raw materials, which should be of the highest quality.

Buy organic eggs from free-range chickens, and opt for wild-caught salmon: it’s more nutritious and less fatty than farmed salmon.

Then there’s the cheese, which should be soft and creamy, but with a neutral and delicate taste so as not to overpower the dish’s flavor.

And lastly, but no less important, the cooking of the eggs……..

To hard-boil them perfectly, to get dry and compact yolks, immerse them in cold water, boil for 8-9 minutes from the boil, and quickly run them under cold water: this way, the cooking will stop, and it will be easier to peel them without breaking the whites.

You can experiment with various fillings and fill the eggs with a variety of ingredients if you like.

If you prefer, you can also prepare them comfortably in advance and keep them in the fridge until serving time.

Tips

Smoked salmon deviled eggs can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 1-2 days maximum.

Smoked salmon deviled eggs are an alternative to simple hard-boiled eggs; they are deliciously flavorful and also serve as a great cold dish for quick lunches and dinners.
The ingredients needed to prepare them are few and simple, and we can have fun personalizing the filling and presentation of the dish as we like!
Ideal also as finger food to eat in one bite during a standing aperitif.
Their main feature is the creaminess of the filling, but also the variety of decorations, which should be colorful and enticing and can really make a difference in the buffet aesthetic.

To save time, especially if we plan to be in the kitchen a lot for Easter lunch, we can prepare the eggs well in advance, as they are delicious even when cold at room temperature.
