How to make the apple and cinnamon cake without a scale

  • Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Place them in a pan with two tablespoons of sugar.

  • Turn on the stove to medium heat. Let them soften and stir continuously. They will be ready when all the juice has been absorbed. It will take about 10 minutes. Turn off the stove and let cool.

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with an electric mixer until you get a fluffy and frothy mixture.

  • Add the milk and oil. Mix everything well.

  • Finally, add the flour and baking powder. Mix carefully to avoid lumps.

  • Pour half of the obtained mixture into a 20 cm cake pan previously buttered and floured. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F. Let it cook for about 10/12 minutes. Be sure to check the cooking time based on your oven.

  • Remove from oven and place the apple filling inside the mold. Cover with the remaining batter and bake again for another 30 minutes. Make sure to do the toothpick test.

  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • Serve yourself.
