Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • 5 oz scamorza cheese
  • 4.2 oz crescenza cheese
  • 2 potatoes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste rosemary

How to Make Flatbread with Potatoes and Crescenza Cheese Tasty and Flavorful Recipe

  • In a bowl, pour the flour, salt, water, and oil.

  • Knead well until you form a smooth and soft dough.

  • With the help of a rolling pin, roll out the dough until it is the size of a baking tray.

  • Transfer the dough onto a baking tray covered with parchment paper. At this point, top it with slices of scamorza cheese.

  • Continue with crescenza cheese and very thinly sliced potatoes. Then season with a pinch of salt, rosemary, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

  • Bake your flatbread with potatoes and crescenza cheese in a static mode oven at 375°F for about 20-25 minutes or until you see the potatoes turning golden. Serve it hot to enjoy it at its best, but it is also delicious cold!

The flatbread can be stored covered with food wrap until the next day. If you don’t have crescenza cheese at home, you can substitute it with stracchino, and if you don’t have scamorza cheese, you can replace it with provolone.
