Apple puff pastry tart. An easy and quick dessert to prepare.
In fact, instead of shortcrust pastry, we’ll use puff pastry, a versatile ingredient that I believe is essential in cooking.
This pie has a crispy shell but is soft inside, making it perfect for a snack with friends or a dessert with a fresh and delicate flavor.
You can customize it according to your tastes, replacing apples with pears or bananas.

Steps

Wash the other two apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Slice them keeping the skin on and place them in a second bowl with water and lemon.
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a frothy mixture. Add the liquid heavy cream and dark chocolate chips and mix.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it with its parchment paper on a round pan.
Fold the edges inward and prick the base with the prongs of a fork.
Sprinkle the base with breadcrumbs and distribute the diced apple and dark chocolate chips.
Pour the egg mixture and level it.
Now arrange the apple slices in a radial pattern to cover the entire surface and add some chocolate chips in the center of the pie. Sprinkle the brown sugar and bake.
Bake for about 20/25 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
Transfer to a slate plate and if desired, dust with powdered sugar.
Enjoy your dessert!
