The muffins with Nutella heart are soft and delicious treats, perfect for breakfast and snack. As an alternative to Nutella, you can use another hazelnut cream or a pistachio cream. I also made a couple with dual-flavor spreadable cream.

Make sure to try them, I’m sure they will captivate you at the first bite. This recipe makes 10 muffins.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • to taste vanilla flavor (or extract)
  • 10 tablespoons Nutella®
  • to taste chocolate chips

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Hand whisk
  • 1 Muffin tin
  • 10 Cupcake liners

How to prepare the muffins with Nutella heart

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with a hand whisk.

  • Add the milk and oil. Continue mixing with the hand whisk.

  • Finally add the flour and baking powder. If you like, add a few drops of vanilla flavor. Mix everything well with the whisk, being careful not to create lumps.

  • Take a muffin tin and place paper liners inside. If you want to take a look at my mold you can click here.

  • In each liner (I made 10 muffins), place a tablespoon of batter.

  • Also add a tablespoon of Nutella in the center of each muffin and cover with the remaining batter. If you like, decorate with chocolate chips or hazelnut pieces.

  • Bake in a preheated oven, static at 350°F. Let cook for about 20/25 minutes. Make sure to check the baking time based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let cool slightly and if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
