How to make panna cotta
To prepare the classic panna cotta, first soak the gelatin in cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Pour the fresh cream, cold from the fridge, the vanilla (you can use the pod or extract), and the sugar into a pot and place it on the stove. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the cream is just about to boil.
Add the well-squeezed gelatin and let it dissolve while continuing to stir.
Pour the panna cotta into the molds and place them on a plate or tray.
Let it cool at room temperature and then refrigerate for 12 hours.
Unmold by briefly dipping them in boiling water, and serve, either plain or with your favorite creams or toppings.
Enjoy your meal!
Storage
Panna cotta keeps in the fridge for 2 days, I do not recommend freezing it.
