  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (or plain or banana-flavored whole yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate chips

Steps for Preparing the Quick Ice Cream with Bananas and Chocolate Chips:

  • Peel the ripe bananas, slice them, and put them in a food bag and place them in the freezer for a few hours.

    You can easily prepare them the day before; we usually keep a stock in the freezer just to make a quick, healthy ice cream perfect for the whole family.

  • In a bowl, pour the heavy whipping cream and whip it well with an electric whisk.

    Transfer the still frozen bananas to the blender and blend them well to obtain a cream.

    In a bowl, put the blended bananas, add the cream, and with upward movements, incorporate it into the mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips.

    Place the bowl in the freezer for about 1 hour to solidify well.

  • Serve your ice cream in two cups, and if you wish, you can decorate with chocolate shavings or whipped cream.

    For this recipe, you can also use whole yogurt instead of cream, the final result does not change; in this case, the preparation is lighter and less caloric.
