Baked shrimp and squid skewers are a real delight, the perfect main course for the whole family. It’s a simple and light recipe; for these, I’ve used squid and shrimp, interspersed with cherry tomatoes. A delicious breadcrumb, parsley, and garlic coating covers the skewers.

How to Make Shrimp and Squid Skewers
Start with the shrimp: wash them, remove the head and legs, then peel off the shell. At this point, use a toothpick to remove the black line that runs through the body, (the intestine), being careful not to break it.
Cut the shrimp with a very sharp knife into thick slices about 1–2 cm (0.39–0.79 inches).
At this point, gather the shrimp and squid in a bowl, add salt, garlic, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Separately, cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
For assembly, take a skewer and alternately insert the fish with cherry tomatoes until the ingredients are used up.
Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with oil and a sprinkle of breadcrumbs.
Bake in a static oven at 392°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
Preservation of shrimp and squid skewers
Shrimp and squid skewers should be consumed immediately. I do not recommend both preserving and freezing as they would become very rubbery and inedible.
