How to make Chocolate Covered Peanuts
To prepare chocolate covered peanuts, first shell the peanuts, removing both the outer shell and the skin. You should have 1.5 cups of peanuts.
In a bowl, break the dark chocolate by hand, or chop it with a knife. Melt it in a double boiler (place the bowl over a pot with water, bring to heat and wait for the water to heat up until it almost boils), stirring occasionally. When the chocolate is melted, remove the bowl from the pot, being careful not to burn yourself.
Pour the peanuts into the melted chocolate, stirring until they are all well coated.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and, using 2 spoons, create small heaps of chocolate and peanuts. Cool at room temperature and then put in the fridge for 2 hours. Chocolate covered peanuts are ready to be enjoyed! Bon appétit!
Storage
