Easy and delicious, perfect to make in a short time and an ideal appetizer if we don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen or perhaps simply don’t want to turn on the oven. Ingredients

  • 3 zucchini
  • 2 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 3.5 oz scamorza cheese
  • as needed peanut oil

Tools

  • 1 Mandoline
  • 1 Frying Pan

Steps

  • Start by trimming the zucchini, then slice them very thinly using a mandoline or a vegetable peeler.

  • Arrange the zucchini as shown in the picture, then fill with cooked ham and a piece of cheese.

  • Close the bundle and coat it first in flour, then in beaten egg.

  • And finally, in breadcrumbs that you have previously seasoned with salt and pepper, then close with a toothpick.

  • Fry the bundles in hot oil for a few seconds.

  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot and melty!

Storage of Crispy Bundles

This preparation is not very suitable for storage as they will become chewy, but despite this, you can keep them in a container for a maximum of one day in the refrigerator.
