Savory Pie with Zucchini, Bacon, and Mozzarella: Perfect to serve as both an appetizer and a main course when you’re short on cooking time.
For the filling, I used zucchini, bacon, and mozzarella, but you can choose your preferred filling. You can use cooked ham, smoked bacon, provolone…and any other ingredients that pair well with zucchini.
I used puff pastry, but if you prefer, you can use shortcrust pastry.

How to Prepare the Savory Pie with Zucchini, Bacon, and Mozzarella
Unroll the puff pastry and place it inside a tart pan. Leave the parchment paper that comes with the pastry underneath.
Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork.
Place the bacon slices, then a layer of zucchini, and finally a layer of mozzarella. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
Fold the edges of the pastry towards the inside.
Drizzle with olive oil and bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F. Bake for about 35/40 minutes. Please check the cooking times according to your oven. The pastry should be crispy and golden.
Remove from the oven and serve.
