Ingredients for Easter Bunnies

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 0.5 cup hazelnut cream
  • 14 dark chocolate eggs
  • as needed powdered sugar

You will need

  • Wheel cutter
  • Parchment paper

Preparing the Easter Puff Pastry Bunnies

Unroll the puff pastry, spread hazelnut cream on half, and fold it over. Create a rectangle and seal the edges well.

Cut horizontal strips of about 0.4 inches with the wheel cutter, turn into a rectangle, and divide them in half.

Take a strip, place a twisted parchment paper ball in the center, twist the ends of the strip twice to create the bunny.

Place the bunnies on the baking tray and bake at 356°F for about 15–20 minutes.

Remove from oven, let them cool, remove the parchment paper ball, and place a chocolate egg.

Storage

The Easter puff pastry bunnies remain crunchy for a maximum of a couple of days.
