Ingredients for Easter Bunnies
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 0.5 cup hazelnut cream
- 14 dark chocolate eggs
- as needed powdered sugar
You will need
- Wheel cutter
- Parchment paper
Preparing the Easter Puff Pastry Bunnies
Unroll the puff pastry, spread hazelnut cream on half, and fold it over. Create a rectangle and seal the edges well.
Cut horizontal strips of about 0.4 inches with the wheel cutter, turn into a rectangle, and divide them in half.
Take a strip, place a twisted parchment paper ball in the center, twist the ends of the strip twice to create the bunny.
Place the bunnies on the baking tray and bake at 356°F for about 15–20 minutes.
Remove from oven, let them cool, remove the parchment paper ball, and place a chocolate egg.
Storage
The Easter puff pastry bunnies remain crunchy for a maximum of a couple of days.
