Ingredients for Creamy Hot Chocolate
- 13.5 oz whole milk
- 1.75 oz 65% dark chocolate
- 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.07 cup sugar
- 0.7 oz cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
You will need
- Saucepan
- Hand whisk
Preparing Creamy Hot Chocolate
Chop the chocolate and set it aside. In the non-stick saucepan, pour the cold milk, add the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, and blend well with a hand whisk, eliminating any lumps
Place the saucepan on the heat and bring to a boil (it will take about 3 minutes), continue stirring with the whisk and add the chopped chocolate, mix to melt it well and when our creamy hot chocolate has reached the desired consistency, turn off the heat. Pour into cups and enjoy your creamy hot chocolate.
Tip
Taste the hot chocolate at the end of cooking so you can add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter.
