How to make the two-tone poured cake with a soft heart

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar. Mix with an electric mixer.

  • Add the milk and oil. Mix.

  • Add the flour and baking powder. Mix everything well, being careful not to create lumps.

  • Pour half of the mixture into a previously greased and floured 8-inch cake pan.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • To the remaining batter, add Nutella and cocoa. Mix and set aside for a moment.

  • Prepare the filling: in a bowl, place the cream cheese, chocolate chips, and sugar. Mix with a spoon.

  • Remove the cake from the oven and add the filling. Level it. Cover with the remaining batter. Bake again for another 15/20 minutes. Again, check the cooking times based on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then store in the refrigerator until serving. I recommend keeping it in the fridge for at least two hours.

  • Before serving, if you like, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • Enjoy your treat.
