Steps for Preparing Quick Tarts

  • In a bowl, place the butter in pieces. Add the sifted flour. Work quickly and add the egg, sugar, salt, vanilla. Work with your hands until you get large crumbs.

  • I used silicone molds that do not need to be greased. Press the crumbs into the bottom of the molds to form the base and edges of the tarts.
