Bresaola Tortelli Stuffed with Cheese, a delicious and easy-to-prepare dish, perfect for a tasty appetizer or a light main course, for a buffet, an aperitif, or even for a special occasion.
The combination of bresaola, with its intense and slightly spicy flavor, and the creaminess of the cheese creates an irresistible balance of flavors.
The preparation is really simple: I prepared the filling by mixing cream cheese with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, arugula, and a pinch of salt and pepper. I made the tortelli with thin slices of bresaola and seasoned them with extra virgin olive oil and shavings of Grana Padano cheese.
The filling can be made with different types of cheese, such as ricotta, stracchino, goat cheese, or a combination of these.
To enrich the filling, you can also add other fresh aromatic herbs like chives, thyme, or basil.
Bresaola Tortelli Stuffed with Cheese are a great choice to impress your guests with an original and tasty appetizer.

Ingredients
- 5.3 oz bresaola
- 7 oz cream cheese (Philadelphia, ricotta, goat cheese …)
- to taste arugula (or chives)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste lemon zest (to taste)
- salt
- pepper
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Plate
- 1 Grater
Steps
In a bowl, mix the Philadelphia (or other cream cheese) with the chopped arugula, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, the zest of a lemon, a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend all the ingredients well until you get a creamy and homogeneous filling.
Place the bresaola slices on a plate, put a teaspoon of filling in the center of each slice. Fold the bresaola slices in half, forming a half-moon, and then join the ends of the half-moon to form a real tortello, pinching the two ends with your fingers to make them stick together.
Place the bresaola tortelli on a serving plate, season them with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and, if you like, add some shavings of Grana or Parmesan cheese, and lemon zest. Decorate with fresh arugula leaves and serve.
