Ingredients
- 1 broccoli
- 1 lemon (untreated)
- garlic powder (to taste)
- sliced almonds
- extra virgin olive oil

Steps
Clean the broccoli by removing the florets and washing them in cold water.
Cook in slightly salted boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Drain and let cool.
Place the florets in a bowl, season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, grated lemon zest, and the juice squeezed from half a lemon.
Add a pinch of garlic powder or a crushed garlic clove, if desired.
Mix well to distribute the seasoning.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and arrange the broccoli over it. Finally, sprinkle with a handful of sliced almonds.
Place everything in a fan oven at 375-400°F (or directly under the grill) and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the broccoli are slightly crispy.

Tips and Variations
You can skip blanching the broccoli if you prefer them crunchier. In this case, lower the oven temperature slightly and let them cook a few more minutes.
