Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 lemon (zest)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 packet baking powder
- 9 oz strawberries
- 9 oz custard
- as needed powdered sugar

Steps
Prepare the Lemon Custard (you can even make it the day before). Cover with cling film in contact and set aside.
Separately, dice the strawberries, leaving some aside for the final decoration.
In a bowl, pour eggs and sugar and mix with the hand whisk for a few minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Add the previously diced strawberries.
Pour the mixture into the greased and floured pan.
Add spoonfuls of custard and halved strawberries. Bake for about 45 minutes at 356°F.
Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired.
