Ingredients for Zucchini Rolls
- 1.1 lbs zucchini
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 7.1 oz smoked cheese (in slices)
- 1.8 oz breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1.4 oz flour
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
What you need
- Peeler
How to prepare Zucchini Rolls
Wash the zucchini. Trim the ends and with the help of a peeler, cut them into very thin slices lengthwise.
Beat the egg with a pinch of salt in a bowl. Lay the zucchini slices on the work surface.
Place a slice of cooked ham and a slice of cheese on each zucchini slice
Gently roll to form the zucchini rolls. Prepare them all in the same way.
Coat the zucchini rolls in flour, making sure it adheres well on all sides.
Now dip them first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
Place them in an oiled tray or lined with baking paper. A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top
Bake the Zucchini Rolls in a preheated static oven at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes.
Air fryer cooking at 365°F (185°C) for 16 minutes
