Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 3 1/2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • to taste coarse salt (optional)

How to Make Fake Potato Pizza

  • First, peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds. Place them in a bowl.

  • Add the water and oil. Stir with a spoon.

  • Add the flour and salt.

  • Stir with the spoon until you get a smooth and very liquid batter.

  • Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  • If you like, add a drizzle of oil on the surface. You can also add rosemary if desired.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 430°F and let cook for about 40 minutes or until the surface is well golden. Since it is yeast-free, the batter must be well cooked. The fake potato pizza should be crispy on the outside and soft inside.

  • Once baked, you can add some coarse salt if you wish. Enjoy.
