Bananas with Yogurt, Strawberries, and Almonds, a very refreshing and easy dessert that can be prepared in no time. Suitable for every season because you can simply replace strawberries with berries, which are available year-round. To enhance this recipe, I recommend preferring yogurt because, in my opinion, it is tastier and certainly healthier. The process for Yogurt Cream takes a bit more time to devote to this delicious treat, but if you start with Greek yogurt, it will definitely be quicker. I always stock up on it, from spring to late autumn, to keep in the refrigerator for preparing both sweet and savory dishes. The combination with sliced almonds is fabulous, making the bananas crunchy as well, and to accentuate the freshness, fresh mint leaves are a must. If you really don’t have time, you can replace not only the yogurt but also the Strawberry Sauce with strawberry jam, or opt for an industrial sauce. But if you can try this recipe, just as I’ve recommended it, I’m sure that once you’ve tasted it, you won’t be able to do without it.

- Seasonality: All Seasons
Ingredients
- 4 bananas
- 24 strawberries
- as needed yogurt cream/ricotta/cream cheese
- as needed strawberry sauce
- as needed fresh mint leaves
- as needed sliced almonds
Tools
- 1 Tray
- 1 Knife
Preparation
Remove the peel from the bananas, but only after washing and drying them, as we could contaminate the pulp. Cut them in half and arrange them on a serving plate.
Spread a generous amount of yogurt cream in dollops over each half banana to make it visible. Pour the strawberry sauce on top and distribute three strawberries on each part.
Dust everything with sliced almonds, I put plenty, and finally add the mint leaves, which have the ability to make every dish fresh and pleasant.
Assemble this delicious dessert, Bananas with Yogurt, Strawberries, and Almonds, only at the last moment and serve it immediately. It should be enjoyed cold, like a sort of semifreddo.
Tips and Storage
Once the dessert has been assembled, you should consume it immediately, as each ingredient would lose its freshness.
If you want to prepare in advance for an important meal, you can do it by lining up everything necessary to organize it at the last moment: strawberries already washed and dried, yogurt cream prepared the day before along with the strawberry syrup, and so on.
You can replace each ingredient with whatever you like best because banana is quite neutral and lends itself to everything.
