Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/8 oz sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 5/8 cups all-purpose flour (about)
  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 Baking tray
  • 1 Baking paper
  • 1 Knife

How to prepare lemon dipping cookies

  • In a bowl, add the egg and sugar. Mix with a fork.

  • Add the milk and lemon juice. Continue mixing with the fork.

  • Finally, add the flour and baking powder. Start mixing with the fork and then continue kneading by hand until you get a smooth and slightly elastic dough. (If necessary, add more flour. You can go up to 2 cups.)

  • Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten it with your hands to create a small rectangle.

  • Brush the surface of the cookies with some milk and, if desired, sprinkle with granulated sugar.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F (180°C) and let it cook for about 20/25 minutes. Please check the cooking times depending on your oven.

  • Remove from the oven and cut the cookies.

  • Let cool and serve.
