Air Fryer Turkey Nuggets, delicious cubes of turkey, breaded and cooked in the air fryer, easy and quick to prepare. They are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or main course. You can accompany them with French fries, fresh vegetables, or various sauces.
Turkey nuggets cooked in the air fryer are a great alternative, tasty and lighter, to traditional fried nuggets, and the result doesn’t change: the texture is crunchy on the outside and tender inside.
The air fryer, in fact, allows for a crispy and golden cooking without the use of large amounts of oil, reducing calorie intake and thus fats. Furthermore, it distributes heat evenly, ensuring perfect cooking.
For me, it’s a valuable ally when time is short: just a few minutes are enough to prepare the nuggets (just the time to cut the meat and bread it) and the cooking is equally quick. Lately, I use it often, especially when I come home from work and am in a hurry.

Storage
You can store turkey nuggets in the refrigerator for about 2 days. The important thing is that they are completely cold before placing them in an airtight container or wrapping them in food wrap. This way, they will maintain their freshness and be ready to be reheated.
If you want to store the nuggets for a longer period, you can also freeze them. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper, then in the freezer for about an hour or until they are frozen. Afterwards, transfer them to a food bag or airtight container and keep them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
When needed, you can heat them in the air fryer for a few minutes after spraying them with a bit of oil.
Tips and Suggestions
– For a crunchier breading, add 50g of crushed cornflakes.
– If you prefer, you can use chicken instead of turkey.
– You can also bake the turkey nuggets in the oven at 392°F for the same amount of time or until golden.
– You can customize the flavor by adding spices and herbs to the breading, such as paprika, garlic, or other aromatic herbs.
