Let’s Start!

  • Preparing this cake is really easy and quick, so let’s start by preheating the oven to 350°F.

    In a bowl, combine the flours, then add the all-purpose flour, sifted baking powder, Nesquik, and sugar, and mix with a hand whisk. Afterwards, add the vegetable oil and milk, and mix again until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.

  • Take a baking pan, I used a loaf pan but a round cake pan is fine too. Grease it with a little vegetable oil and then dust with flour, removing any excess.

    Pour the batter of the sweet Nesquik cake without eggs into the floured pan with the help of a spatula.

  • Now the oven will have reached the temperature of 350°F, so we can bake our cake. Bake for 25 minutes at this temperature, then lower to 320°F and bake for another 15 minutes. Before removing from the oven, always do the toothpick test: insert a toothpick into the center of the cake and pull it out. If it comes out dry and clean, our cake is ready to be removed from the oven.
