Puff Pastry Letters for Valentine’s Day
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 8 teaspoons jam (strawberry, cherry, raspberry)
- 1 egg yolk (with a splash of milk)
- as needed powdered sugar

Steps
Puff Pastry Letters
Roll out the puff pastry.
Cut it into 8 equal-sized rectangles.
Use a heart-shaped cutter to cut out a heart on the top side.
Fill the middle with a tablespoon of jam.
Brush the edges with beaten egg yolk and a splash of milk and fold to form the letter (form the letter)
Use a knife to make a small incision without cutting to form the letter closure.
Finally, use a fork to seal the edges well.
Place the letters on a baking sheet with parchment paper as you make them.
Brush the surface with beaten egg.
Bake the puff pastry letters in a preheated oven at 356°F fan-forced for about 20 minutes.
When they are well puffed and golden, take them out, and once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

The letters can also be filled with something else according to your taste.
They keep for about 1 day if covered to maintain crispness.
