Baked Fritters. Nutella-filled fritters baked in the oven, simple and quick to prepare. Perfect for breakfast and snack time.
The baked fritters are simple and quick to make. Best served warm. Everyone loves them: adults and kids alike.
I used Nutella to fill them, but you can also use jam, or make a delicious cocoa cream.

How to Prepare Baked Fritters
In a bowl, add the egg and sugar. Mix with a fork or, if you prefer, with an electric mixer.
Add the milk and mix with the fork.
Add the flour and grated orange zest. Mix the batter carefully. (If you prefer, you can use a few drops of orange flavoring).
Finally, add and incorporate the baking powder.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon, scoop portions of the batter and place them on the sheet. Space the fritters apart. (You can choose the size. If you make them small, you can prepare about 20 fritters with this amount).
Bake in a preheated, static oven at 350°F and let them cook for about 10 minutes. Please check the cooking times based on your oven.
While they are still warm, cut them in half, fill them with Nutella, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
