Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1.75 oz dark chocolate
- 0.25 cup cornstarch (heaped)
- 1 egg
- 0.5 cup whipping cream
- as needed sugar (heart-shaped for decoration)

Steps
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the cornstarch, and mix with a whisk until fully dissolved. Place the mixture on the stove and heat. It should not boil. If you have a kitchen thermometer, measure the temperature. It should reach 203 degrees Fahrenheit.
Meanwhile, coarsely chop the dark chocolate and set it aside.
Lower the heat, add the egg and sugar to the hot milk, and mix.
At this point, add the chopped dark chocolate and continue stirring until completely melted.
Continue cooking for 3-4 minutes, then remove the pot from the heat and pour the pudding into two small bowls or into a heart mold.
Cover with plastic wrap, let cool at room temperature for a while, and then refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours until the pudding is set.
After this time, whip the cream with powdered sugar and put it in a piping bag.
Unmold the pudding and decorate it with dollops of whipped cream and heart-shaped sprinkles.
