Ingredients
- 1.5 cups instant polenta
- as needed water (about 6 cups)
- 14 oz sausage
- 1 clove garlic
- 1.7 cups tomato purée
- as needed salt
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- Pots
- Lids
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Whisk
Steps
In a pot, heat 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and add the whole garlic clove. When the garlic begins to brown, add the sausage in pieces and let it brown.
At this point, add the tomato purée to the sausage, salt it, and mix well. Let it cook over medium-low heat for about 25-30 minutes, ensuring the sauce thickens slightly.
Turn off the heat and dedicate yourself to the polenta.
Bring the water to a boil in a large pot and salt to taste. Add the instant polenta gradually, stirring constantly with a whisk to avoid lumps. Cook the polenta following the package instructions.
When the polenta is ready, pour it onto a serving plate or into 4 single-serving terracotta pans.
Add the sausage and sauce, and serve hot!
Enjoy your meal!
Storage and advice
Store covered with aluminum foil.
You can consume it within 2 days, although I like to enjoy it right away.
