Ingredients for the Savory Pie with Zucchini and Speck
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 1.1 lbs zucchini
- 4.2 oz speck
- 7.1 oz scamorza cheese
- 1 egg
- 1.4 oz grated Parmesan
- 0.42 cup milk
- to taste salt
How to prepare the Savory Pie with Zucchini
Wash the zucchini. Trim the ends and, with the help of a mandolin, cut them into very thin slices. Spread the rectangular puff pastry roll in a rectangular baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Cover the whole base with half of the zucchini slices, slightly overlapping them. Cover with the scamorza cheese in thin slices. Continue by covering with the speck slices.
Finish the preparation with the other slices of zucchini to cover the entire surface of the savory pie. Fold the puff pastry all around. Beat the egg in a bowl with a pinch of salt, the milk, and the grated Parmesan.
Pour the mixture over the filling, distributing it well. Let the Savory Pie with Zucchini bake in the hot oven at 374°F in static mode for 28-30 minutes.
