Tips and Variations

If you don’t have cherry mozzarella, you can use a large mozzarella and cut it into cubes. However, I recommend fiordilatte mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella would release too much liquid.

You can use cherry, grape, or other types of tomatoes, cutting them into pieces if needed.

With these quantities, you will get 10 short skewers (suitable for buffets, appetizers, aperitifs). If you prefer, you can make longer skewers and bring them to the table inserted in half a watermelon or melon.

You can enrich the skewers with black olives or grilled zucchini cut into rounds.
