Ingredients

  • 7 oz biscuits
  • 7 tbsp butter
  • 7 oz chocolate
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 18 oz mascarpone
  • as needed jam

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Small pot
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Mixer
  • 1 Springform pan

How to prepare the chocolate and jam cheesecake.

  • First, place the chopped chocolate and milk in a small pot. Move to the stove and let the chocolate melt. Stir often. Once ready, turn off the stove and let it cool.

  • Crumble the biscuits with a mixer or crush them in a bag with a rolling pin.

  • Melt the butter and add it to the biscuits. Mix well.

  • Place the biscuits with the butter in a 8-inch springform pan previously lined with parchment paper.

  • Press well and refrigerate for about half an hour.

  • In a bowl, place 9 oz of mascarpone and the melted chocolate with milk. Stir with the spoon. You will have a liquid mixture.

  • Add the remaining mascarpone and mix with the electric mixer. At this point, the mixture will thicken.

  • Take the pan out of the refrigerator and spread a layer of jam on the biscuit base. Add the mascarpone cream and level well.

  • Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 hours.

  • Before serving, spread a layer of jam on the surface of the cheesecake.

  • Enjoy your dessert.

Notes

I used cherry jam, but you can use whatever flavor you prefer.

As for the chocolate to melt, you can choose whichever you prefer.

If you like, you can add chopped cherries inside the mascarpone cream.
