Ingredients for the Sour Cherry Cake:

9×9 inch pan

  • 5 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 10 1/2 oz sour cherries
  • 1 packet baking powder for desserts
  • vanilla
  • 7 oz vegetable oil
  • lemon zest

  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and creamy mixture. Add the oil, milk,

  • Add a bit of lemon flavor or zest and vanilla. Add the flour a little at a time and the baking powder. Put the obtained mixture into the (9×9 inch) pan lined with parchment paper

  • level with a spatula. Flour the pitted sour cherries and put them on top. Also, add a bit of syrup released by the sour cherries (if any)

  • bake in the oven at 356°F for about 40/50 minutes.
