Cannoli Semifreddo – Easy and Refreshing Recipe
Cannoli Semifreddo is a delightful summer reinterpretation of the classic Sicilian cannoli. A new entry for my “collection” of semifreddos that I must say not only looks “WOW” but is also equally DELICIOUS!!! A semifreddo made with Sicilian cannoli ingredients but assembled differently 😁 and put in the freezer to become semifreddo! I forgot to mention for this recipe you DO NOT need to turn on the OVEN or STOVE!!!

Ingredients for Cannoli Semifreddo – Easy and Refreshing Recipe:
- 7 oz Cannoli Shells (Empty)
- 1.1 lbs ricotta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- candied fruits (To taste)
Steps
The preparation of the Cannoli Semifreddo – Easy and Refreshing Recipe is very simple and requires no cooking, watch the video HERE.
In a bowl, mix ricotta with sugar, add chocolate chips and mix well. Add the cream and mix. Take a mold (preferably silicone otherwise you will need to cover it with plastic wrap to facilitate removal after freezing) and place candied fruits at the bottom as desired
Add some crumbled cannoli shells. Add the obtained cream and level it. Cover with more crumbled cannoli shells and put in the freezer for a few hours or better yet until the next day!
