Ingredients
- 2 rolls puff pastry (460)
- 1.1 lbs ground beef
- 1 bunch chopped parsley
- 7 oz asiago (or Latteria)
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 pinch black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 egg (to brush the croissants)

Preparation of Flaky Puff Pastry Croissants with Ground Meat
To prepare the flaky puff pastry croissants, first mix in a bowl the ground meat with the parsley, salt, and black pepper.
If you want to make them even richer, you can add a handful of grated Parmesan.
Unroll the puff pastry leaving it with its parchment paper underneath.
Place a glass in the center as a guide, then distribute the meat in small mounds.
Using your hands, spread the meat in a thin layer to cover the entire pastry.
Remove the glass.
With the help of a pasta cutter wheel, divide the pastry into 8 parts.
At the base of each croissant, place a piece of cheese and roll it.
Roll gently without tightening too much.
As you prepare them, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush them with a lightly beaten egg.
Bake the flaky puff pastry croissants with ground meat in the center rack of a preheated static oven at 392°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
