Ingredients

  • 4 slices sandwich bread (long slice without crust)
  • 7 oz mortadella with pistachios
  • 2 packs fresh spreadable cheese
  • to taste pistachio crumbs

Tools

  • 1 Worktop
  • 1 Rolling pin
  • Plastic wrap

Steps

  • First, take the sandwich bread slices (the long ones, without crust) and slightly flatten them with a rolling pin. This way, they will roll up better. I placed them side by side two by two and pressed them well to make them stick together. Then, I covered them with spreadable cheese.

  • I used the new Galbani cheese, Nuvola. It’s very creamy and spreads very well. If you use Philadelphia, I recommend working it well with a fork before spreading it on the bread.

  • Then, cover the cheese with mortadella and roll the bread from the shorter side, and wrap the obtained rolls with plastic wrap. Place them in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  • Before serving, cover the surface of the rolls with more spreadable cheese, roll them in pistachio crumbs, slice and serve.

  • Here are the Bread Swirls with Mortadella and Cheese ready. Enjoy your meal!
