A cake perfect to start the day right, made without eggs, butter, or milk, hence vegan. ☺️ Perfect for those who are vegan or intolerant to these foods! Moreover, in this recipe, I chose to use whole wheat flour because I personally like it a lot!!! The combination of blackberries and hazelnuts is perfect so I recommend you try it!

Ingredients for the vegan blackberry and hazelnut cake:

8-inch pan

  • 5 oz hazelnut beverage
  • 6 3/4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 7 oz blackberries
  • chopped hazelnuts

Steps

The preparation of the vegan blackberry and hazelnut cake is very simple, watch the video HERE.

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder and mix. Add the hazelnut beverage, oil, and blend.

  • Add the cleaned and washed blackberries and mix. Transfer the mixture into the mold. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.

  • Enjoy!
