Teriyaki Meatballs in Slow Cooker, a recipe that combines Japanese culinary tradition and Western style: the soft and juicy texture of classic meatballs meets the intense and bold flavor of teriyaki sauce.
The slow cooking maximizes the flavor of the sauce, allowing the meat to gradually absorb all the aromas, while keeping it incredibly juicy. The teriyaki meatballs in slow cooker are the perfect choice for those who want a dish that can be prepared almost by itself, while engaging in other activities. As the hours pass, the sauce slightly caramelizes, glazing the meatballs and making them extremely flavorful.
Besides being an excellent main dish, these meatballs can be served on a bed of basmati rice, accompanied by steamed vegetables, or inserted in a sandwich for a fusion version. They are ideal for a family dinner or a lunch that surprises guests, bringing an exotic touch to the table without giving up the familiarity of meatballs.
