Ingredients
- 8.8 oz Digestive biscuits
- 1.75 oz sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2.8 oz butter (soft)
- 5.6 oz dark chocolate
- to taste powdered sugar (for decoration)
Tools
- Food processor
- Saucepan
- 2 Bowls
- Parchment paper
Steps
Let’s start by finely chopping the biscuits. You can do this using a food processor or by placing the biscuits in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
In a bowl, combine the chopped biscuits with the sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix the dry ingredients well.
In a small saucepan, melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler. Add the soft butter and stir until you get a smooth cream.
Pour the chocolate and butter mixture over the biscuit mixture and mix well until you achieve a uniform consistency.
Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and shape it into a salami, wrapping it tightly with the paper.
Place the chocolate salami in the refrigerator and let it cool for at least 2-3 hours or until it becomes firm enough.
Our NO-EGG CHOCOLATE SALAMI is ready. Remove the parchment paper and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
