A summer cake, no-bake, made in layers with two creams, a layer of cherries and a cookie base! It is certainly a valid alternative to the original Black Forest cake, instead of turning on the oven to bake the sponge cake, try this simpler and faster version! This cheesecake is perfect as a dessert at the end of a meal, to celebrate any kind of occasion or just whenever we crave a sweet treat!

Ingredients for the Black Forest cheesecake:

  • 7 oz cookies
  • 0.7 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 4 fl oz heavy cream
  • 7 oz ricotta cheese
  • 0.3 oz gelatin sheets
  • 3.5 oz sugar
  • 7 oz yogurt
  • vanilla
  • 7 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3.5 oz heavy cream
  • 2.8 oz sugar
  • 0.3 oz gelatin sheets
  • 3.5 oz chocolate
  • 7 oz yogurt
  • 7 oz cherries

  • Base preparation:

    Mix the melted butter with the crushed cookies and cocoa. Put the mixture into the mold lined with parchment paper and compact it. Put the mold in the fridge while preparing the first cream.

  • First cream preparation:

    First, soak the gelatin in cold water. In a bowl, mix the ricotta, sugar, yogurt, cream, a bit of vanilla.

  • Melt the gelatin with a bit of liquor over heat and add it while mixing. Put the obtained mixture into the mold and then into the fridge for a couple of hours.

    Second cream preparation:

    Put the yogurt, ricotta, sugar,

  • put the pre-hydrated gelatin into the boiling cream, then place it over the chocolate and stir to melt well. Add it to the mixture and blend.

  • Take the mold from the fridge and place the pitted cherries on top. Pour the chocolate mixture over it. Put it back in the fridge for a few more hours. Then remove it from the mold

  • decorate as you like!
