The Smoked Paprika Chicken Wings are so delicious that you’ll end up licking your fingers. It is a simple recipe to prepare that pleases not only kids. Nothing spicy, because paprika is just dried and ground red pepper. In this case, smoke is added which makes the paprika even tastier. Oven cooking makes them very light, but if you prefer, you can easily fry them in peanut oil. I usually pair them with cooked or raw vegetables and with some spicy sauce for dipping. However, even ketchup is fine, in case you don’t like spicy flavors.

How to prepare Smoked Paprika Chicken Wings
First, organize your workspace with all the necessary ingredients already measured, so that everything is at hand.
Beat the eggs with a whisk, chop the onion and parsley with a sharp knife, and prepare two shallow plates with flour and breadcrumbs.
Mix the chopped ingredients into the breadcrumbs along with the smoked paprika and stir so that the mixture is well seasoned.
Coat the wings in flour, turning them more than once, to ensure it sticks well to the meat, and dip them into the beaten egg.
Now, coat them in the seasoned breadcrumbs, turning them over multiple times in this case as well. Line the baking tray with parchment paper and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over it.
Arrange the breaded wings one after the other, but without overlapping too much. Add more extra virgin olive oil and adjust the salt. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) and cook for about 50/60 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve your Smoked Paprika Chicken Wings hot from the oven, but they are also delicious at room temperature.
Tips and Storage
The breaded wings can be preserved for about 3 days, whether seasoned raw or cooked, in the refrigerator but inside an airtight container.
You can also freeze them in both states mentioned above, but remember to defrost them in the refrigerator to avoid food poisoning.
I usually prepare them in abundance and freeze them raw, so I have them ready when I have less time.
If you don’t like smoked paprika, feel free to use sweet paprika, but obviously, the flavor will be less intense.
