Preparation of the muffins in the air fryer
Pour the sugar and eggs into a bowl and mix well with a spatula. Add the vanilla yogurt, milk, and melted butter. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Pour the sifted flour with the baking powder and mix quickly, removing all the lumps. You should obtain a fairly consistent mixture.
Pour a spoonful of the mixture into medium-sized muffin liners, add a teaspoon of raspberry jam, and cover with another spoonful of the mixture. Sprinkle the surface with the sugar sprinkles.
Arrange the liners inside aluminum molds suitable for oven baking. This step is necessary if you are using lightweight paper liners, as they won’t hold their shape in the air fryer, just like in traditional baking where you place them in the appropriate mold. If you are using heavy paper liners that do not require a muffin mold, you can skip using the aluminum molds.
Meanwhile, preheat your air fryer using the preset program. Once ready, take out the drawer and arrange the liners. Mine fits five liners at a time, but I prefer to place 4 at a time for convenience, to ensure even cooking.
Cook at 338°F for 12 minutes, then lower the temperature to 320°F and continue cooking for another 4 minutes.
Once cooked, always check the doneness with a toothpick, place the muffins on a rack, and let them cool, removing them from the aluminum containers after a few minutes.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How long do the muffins last?
Stored in an airtight container, these muffins last several days.
What containers are suitable for the air fryer?
Heavy paper liners and silicone molds are perfect, always considering the size of your basket.
What materials are suitable for the air fryer?
As mentioned before, waxed heavy paper and silicone are perfect. Do not use wood or plastic; the former, even if you want to smoke something, risks catching fire and causing a fire, while the latter will inevitably melt. Even plastic containers suitable for microwave cooking are not suitable for use in the fryer.
