Scampi alla Busara! Even today, the exact meaning of the word ‘busara’ is not well known. There are various hypotheses; one suggests that ‘busara’ means ‘lie’, as the tomato hides the scampi. Another hypothesis is that ‘busara’ refers to the iron or clay pot that fishermen used on their boats to cook fish. Cooking fish is always a festive occasion at home, especially if it’s shellfish. On my blog.giallozafferano.it/vaipinacucina, you’ll find fish dishes, lots of vegetables, and desserts.

Scampi alla Busara
Today we’re cooking Scampi alla Busara, a fantastic second course that’s finger-licking good! Additionally, with my dish, I dress the spaghetti with the scampi sauce to make it a main course as well.
