Oro Ciok Parfait
Well, I confess these cookies are my favorite and I buy them very often 😁 so today I offer you a delicious parfait made with oro ciok cookies, chocolate cream, and whipped cream, a real treat!!! Since it’s hot in the summer and I don’t feel like turning on the oven or stove, I prefer to make cool desserts that don’t require cooking and that I can store for a long time, so if I have unexpected guests or invitations to friends’ and family homes, the dessert is always ready since we can store it in the freezer for months!

Ingredients for the Oro Ciok Parfait:
- 1 cup cup milk
- 1/4 cup cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup cup sugar
- 2 tbsp tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp tbsp cornstarch
- rum flavoring
- cookies (Oro Ciok)
- 2/3 cup cup whipping cream
- 1.8 oz oz mascarpone
- 2 tbsp tbsp sugar
- vanilla
Steps
Preparing the oro ciok parfait is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
Chocolate cream preparation:
In a small pot, we put the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and mix. We add the milk little by little, mixing to avoid lumps. We bring it to the heat to thicken.
We stir occasionally. Once thickened, we turn off the heat and add the butter.
We add a bit of rum flavoring. Mix well. Cover with cling film and let it cool.
Assembly:
Place a layer of cookies upside down in the mold.
Add a layer of chocolate cream (about half).
Add the mascarpone, whipping cream, sugar, vanilla
Whip it. Add a layer of cream and level it. Top with the remaining chocolate cream
cover with another layer of cookies. Cover and put in the freezer for a few hours or until needed!
